Years ago I had a encounter that I still question to this day. I often tell this tale in a humorous way, but the fear I experienced was nearly paralyzing. Today the news is full of another craft being shot down. In fact, four UFOs, have been shot down in the last eight days. The first was a spy balloon that China sent over the US. I noticed it did not fly over Iowa.

Naturally, I think everyone would be asking about these events. I’m more concerned about an impending war rather than being spied on by China or Russia. Russia invading Alaska is a concern. China joining Russia and beginning a third world war is extremely alarming. Being invaded by aliens is also an underlying fear I have. Boom: sudden change can be the most difficult thing to deal with. It’s like when the Covid shutdown occurred. We knew the disease was happening. We knew our lives were at risks, but still when the shutdown occurred, it was so strange. Questions loomed. No one knew how long the shutdown would occur and then there were even more questions and conspiracies about the disease, the vaccinations, and the government’s involvement.

I keep waiting for the next shoe to drop. I’m not too afraid, but I keep trying to imagine what might I have to contend with in the near future. I’m not a prepper, but I’ve often wanted to go in that direction. I just get so frustrated by the ones who wipe out a store’s shelves, etc. For now, I write this, wondering which direction the world is moving. Are invasions, war, or some other grim reality on the horizon. I’m a bit unnerved waiting for the next BOOM.
