We just got home from a week away. I can’t complain about the time spent with family, but when you drive for nearly twenty hours, it’s difficult to deal with the consequences of being gone for a week.

Spending time with our son, his girlfriend, and her family. Seeing new sights. Taking boat rides. Viewing wildlife like dolphins, pelicans, and turtles. Eating fresh seafood.

Driving through Dallas and on unfamiliar roads. Eating lots of junk food in the car. Sand in the car. Not keeping up with blogging. Feeling tired afterwards. Having to work the very next day, a Saturday. Paying the bills afterwards. Missing a funeral visitation.

How do you bullet lists in WordPress?

    Barb,

It is the coming and going that is most difficult when traveling. My car is so dirty, but I can’t say I can blame travel. I like the way you color-coded each section. I think it’s more effective than bullets. And I have no desire to drive through big cities. Try to get some rest.

Barb, I hear you on the upsides and downsides! I love travel – to a degree, for so many of the same reasons. But coming home is hard the day before work, I agree 100 percent. I’m glad you are getting out and going to spend time with family – that is always a great thing to do! I’m glad you’re writing too even though that’s really hard when traveling!

Barb, great post. You had some good upsides, and the downsides can get one down. I’m glad you are home safely. Rest up. The bullets are on the left with the Blocks, you add a list. I actually liked the way yours read as a list in a paragraph, so nice job creating your own way. It’s very effective.
